Hello friends! Many of the Human Connection supporters are also supporters of free and independent media as we live in a world of „fake news” and we desperately need a counterweight to counterbalance the predominant viewpoint propagated by the corporate media. Some of you might be familiar with acTVism Munich, an independent, nonprofit digital media channel based out of Munich, Germany, reporting both in German and English.
acTVism Munich has done outstanding in-depth reporting covering a wide range of topics including education, politics, global economics, environment, and social issues. They even ran an exclusive interview with NSA-whistleblower Edward Snowden.
On May 6, 2018 acTVism Munich organized an event at Muffatwerk in Munich with Glenn Greenwald, Jill Stein, and Abby Martin under the title „Freedom & Democracy: Global Issues in Context 2.0”. Here’s a video of the event.
Human Connection founder, Dennis Hack, was also interviewed by acTVism Munich to introduce Human Connection to their audience.
Unfortunately, the interview with Dennis Hack couldn’t be translated into English due to lack of funds. Since acTVism Munich is a nonprofit, ad-free, independent media organization it relies on crowdfunding – just like Human Connection.
However, the founders of acTVism Munich told us that their budget is tight. Although many people crave independent news and an alternative view on the current news cycle perpetuating the same one-sided views of world events, the financial support from viewers is still minimal and doesn’t reflect the overall excitement about the amazing content produced by the acTVism Munich reporter team.

acTVism Munich must find around 250 people by the end of 2018 who are willing to donate five Euros a month in order for them to remain independent of government and private sector donations and to continue to make comprehensive, in-depth reporting freely accessible to all people.
